Mariah Carey Admits She Is Mentally Ill Via
Bipolar Disorder Diagnosis

Mariah Carey
Mariah Carey did an interview with People magazine and revealed
her Bipolar Disorder diagnosis, indicating she is mentally ill.
Carey stated, "I didn’t want to believe it. Until recently
I lived in denial and isolation and in constant fear someone
would expose me. It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply
couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I put
positive people around me and I got back to doing what I love —
writing songs and making music."
The Judiciary Report has long held that Carey is mentally ill.
For years I have stated this fact in a number of articles on
this site (Mariah Carey's Mental Illness Apparent In 'Mariah's World'
Reality Show
and
How Mariah Carey Went
Crazy). She also has drug and alcohol problems as stated
previously on the site.
I also stated in past articles that Carey needed to get therapy
with mental health professionals (Mariah Carey Blames Everyone But Herself Including Her Dancers
For Her Latest Fall From Grace On New Years And Flopped Single
'I Don't' ). Now Carey is finally taking
medication for mental illness. Carey stated this week, "I’m
actually taking medication that seems to be pretty good. It’s
not making me feel too tired or sluggish or anything like that.
Finding the proper balance is what is most important."
Carey's mental illness began due to her years with former Sony
Music records boss (*cough* and mob boss) Tommy Mottola.
Carey began dating Mottola when she was 18 and he in his 40s,
when he gave her a record deal. That's how Carey got the record
deal. Mottola gave Carey special treatment at the label, which upset
other artists such as Gloria Estefan and Celine Dion, whose
projects were not getting the funding they deserved, due to
him diverting so much of the budget into making Mariah a
star. Due to the fact he made her a star, he behaved like he
owned Carey.
Mottola then married his star and Carey got more than she bargained
for in their terrible marriage. Mottola treated her like a
prisoner in their home. Where normal people install security
cameras outside their property, Mottola also crazily had cameras
installed inside their home to watch Carey night and day.

One, he's a sick pervert and two, he wanted to
make sure she was not cheating, which is not legal grounds for
unlawful surveillance. Mottola also had their home phone
and Carey's mobiles wiretapped, which was also illegal. All this
unlawful spying on
Carey, 24-hours a day, made her paranoid and mentally ill. She
could not handle it and these incidents of perverse, secret
spying, destroyed her mental health. Mottola also bullied Carey
during the marriage.
People would call Carey and Mottola knew due to the
illegal wiretaps and confronted her about the calls if he deemed
there was a possibility of her cheating. Shortly after, the
people in the industry who called Carey, particularly men, would
receive a call back from Mottola's rep, with the instruction to call
him
instead.
Mottola was a controlling, abusive and domineering man, who
has ties to the murderous Italian-American mafia (as
detailed in a Vanity Fair interview in the 1990s). Mottola bragged about his
mafia ties and used it to intimidate, threaten and terrify people in the
entertainment industry...including Carey.
During her marriage,
Carey fell in love with baseball player, Derek Jeter,
and left Mottola. It was Mottola's nightmare come true. To make
matters worse, she left him for a handsome, young, rich stud. Carey
left the marriage with far less than she was entitled to,
including some of her royalties and interest in their
$50,000,000 upstate mansion, but she was afraid of Mottola.
A curious story about that gaudy mansion. After Carey fled Mottola, he could not sell that monstrosity
of a house. It was overpriced, had an
over the top design and was decorated in a less than tasteful
manner. The house screamed nouveau riche. After being on the
market for a long time without a buyer, it mysteriously burned
to the ground, in true mafia fashion. It's amazing how
he couldn't sell the house, an overpriced real estate deal
happened, then the house just magically erupted in
flames and the insurance money was collected. Go figure!

Mariah Carey: My Battle with Bipolar Disorder
April 11, 2018 07:00 AM - In this week’s
PEOPLE cover story, Mariah Carey reveals for the first time
her battle with bipolar disorder. Although she was first
diagnosed in 2001 (when she was hospitalized for a physical
and mental breakdown), “I didn’t want to believe it,” the
superstar singer-songwriter tells PEOPLE editor in chief
Jess Cagle.
Carey says she finally sought treatment
recently after “the hardest couple of years I’ve been
through” — years of professional upheaval, an E! reality
show and romantic drama. “Until recently I lived in denial
and isolation and in constant fear someone would expose me,”
she says. “It was too heavy a burden to carry and I simply
couldn’t do that anymore. I sought and received treatment, I
put positive people around me and I got back to doing what I
love — writing songs and making music.”...
