The paparazzi continue to swirl around fallen actress, Lindsay Lohan, who is misinterpreting the attention. Each time she sees a camera, a pleased smirk rises on her face and she places her hand on her chest, feigning modesty. 

However, why are they really there? To get paid for photos to go with articles documenting a downfall. That's not flattering. It's not something to aspire to or be comfortable with, as it categorizes one in a scandal plagued column of journalism, rather than being known for anything of merit.
