U.S. President Donald Trump Is Taking The Drug
HydroxychloroquineMay 21. 2020
Donald Trump
U.S. President, Donald Trump, has been taking the
anti-malaria drug, Hydroxychloroquine, as a preventative measure
against the deadly coronavirus (Covid-19). I do not think it is safe
for the president or anyone else to take Hydroxychloroquine as a
preventative measure.
In my eyes Hydroxychloroquine is more of a last
resort for critically ill patients, in the absence of a cure for
coronavirus, during the devastating outbreak that has infected
5,000,000 people and killed over 330,000. The coronavirus needs a
cure as vaccines for a new virus of this nature can have terrible
side effects that harm the public (though I am not against vaccines).
Hydroxychloroquine
There are other serious risks present with the
president taking the drug Hydroxychloroquine as a preventative
measure. President Trump is fond of drinking several caffeinated
sodas per day, which poses a risk to his heart and can cause
agitation.
Hydroxychloroquine can also cause a heart arrhythmia,
which in turn can turn into a fatal heart attack. Caffeinated sodas
and Hydroxychloroquine will leave the president feeling very weak
(faint) and
at risk of cardiac arrest. It is not worth the risk to anyone under
such circumstances.
