Unemployment in America escalated to 9.8 percent, to the shock of mainstream economists and analysts. The U.S. economy is still hemorrhaging jobs and not replacing them at an acceptable rate to compensate. The latter is due to stimulus and TARP funds being criminally misappropriated and wasted. Banks are also sitting on a fortune in bailout money. The creativity needed to create the jobs is simply not present in government.
