Hurricane Helene ripped through the southern part of America damaging Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina and North Carolina, with the latter taking the worst hit from the storm. Ohio and Indiana experienced the effects of the hurricane as well. Select towns in North Carolina and Florida have been wiped off the map due to Hurricane Helene. The damage looks like a bomb went off. This level of storm damage is unprecedented. More than 240 people have been found dead and thousands are missing.

In Florida alone there is $20 billion in damage. North Carolina is facing greater property losses. Many people have lost everything. Evacuations have been slow and many are still trapped in areas of North Carolina where roads have been washed away and there is no electricity. To make matters worst another storm is on the way and is projected to hit Florida again (Hurricane Milton).
