Will Meghan Markle Be Taken For Granted By The Royal Family March 13. 2018
Meghan Markle After the May 2018 wedding of divorcee, Meghan Markle, to Britain's Prince Harry, and the hoopla dies down, will she be taken for granted by the royal family. I believe so. If you look at what transpired with the late Princess Diana when the royal family could no longer control her, you will come to the same conclusion, as Markle, who is smart and articulate, is also very opinionated. There's nothing wrong with being opinionated, but in that setting, it will prove problematic, as everything the royal family does is rehearsed and scripted. The pending nuptials have brought the royal family worldwide publicity, which is what they crave. However, no member of the royal family has constantly commanded global press and public attention in the manner Princess Diana did, generating massive revenues from official product sales and sold so many newspapers and magazines. Diana was good for the British economy. Diana was the most popular royal due to her stunning looks, modern lifestyle and opinionated stance. People were so drawn to her and she eclipsed the entire royal family. The royal family has tried to recreate the Diana effect with Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, repeatedly styling her in the same or similar clothes as the late princess, and sending her to the same places her mother-in-law went, hoping it would invoke nostalgia. However, Middleton has failed to match the massive publicity and public adoration Diana effortlessly commanded. I am of the belief Markle will also not match the level of press and public attention Diana drew as the most famous woman on earth.
Princess Diana and Prince Charles when their marriage soured due to his cheating. The union was not meant to be, but the Queen and Prince Philip were against his relationship with his true love, Camilla Parker, as she was not aristocratic and is one year older than Charles. After Diana died, Charles married Camilla. Princess Diana would derisively refer to the royal family as "the Firm" as they operate as a business more than anything and did not treat her well. Diana loathed the way they treated her when Charles' cheating eroded her mental health. Then, the Queen was out to get Diana, for daring to defy the family in publicly stating the situation was not okay (and it wasn't, as Charles kept cheating on her, which is intolerable from any person). Diana already had abandonment issues from her mother having left the family. Charles' adulterous conduct made it significantly worse. The Queen took decisive and unkind action against Diana for being outspoken and it broke the princess' spirit. People have this image of the Queen as a docile, doting grandmother. However, she is actually a vengeful woman, who is not a fan of minorities (no one in that family is). It is a mean family that has shown open hostility to minorities. The Queen is only tolerating mixed race, African-American Markle in an attempt to remain relevant with the British people (she is Queen by their mercy and tax money) and stay the monarch in a Britain that has become more racially diverse. There are a lot of interracial marriages in Britain, especially London. Furthermore, the suggestion to have a minority marry into the royal family was not the idea of the Queen or Harry. I was informed by a very credible source that a British government advisor came up with the idea for "the firm" to add a person of color and approached the Queen with the it, after scandals branded the royal family racist and out of touch with the public. Petitions had begun to circulate online from various entities within Britain demanding a referendum to abolish the costly, racist royal family, who are costing the taxpayers a fortune. Many in the public want a merit based society, not one based on royalty. The royal family's political political power was already stripped years ago, placing it with the Prime Minister and Parliament, in a move that was smart, more democratic and a move to limit their interference in government matters. Therefore, the royal family's role is now ceremonial. The royal family is now a tourist attraction, but they can't even do that right, which I find astonishing and appalling. I suspect this is why they are not one of the top grossing tourist attractions in Britain, based on lists published online in various articles. I am not a fan of that family and with good reason (read the aforementioned link). There are also stories in the public domain of black people inexplicably being treated badly by the royal family in unprovoked incidents. I feel sorry for Markle.
