The MeToo Movement Is Going After Pedophile R
Kelly
And It's About Time He Was Taken To Task For His Sexually
Abusive Behavior

R&B singer R Kelly is shaking in his boots at news the MeToo
movement is coming after him for his sex crimes against women,
as was done to rapist and sexual harasser, Harvey Weinstein. The
MeToo movement has called for a boycott of all R Kelly products.
I am in favor of this. I have not bought anything by R Kelly
since the 1990s, when I read in Vibe magazine of the sex crimes
he committed against the late singer Aaliyah and other underage
girls, one as young as age 11. Kelly sent Aaliyah down the wrong
path. She was left to fend for herself after he groomed, raped
and illegally married her when she was 15. The rape began when
she was 14 and he in his late twenties.

For years I have been dismayed at Kelly releasing new albums and
doing collaborations with other recording artists. Kelly is a
pedophile, who has destroyed dozens of young girls lives (some
spoke of the mental and physical trauma they faced). He should
be in prison. He should not have a public platform to find and
groom more underage girls. Kelly is still preying on teenage
girls, via a sex cult he started in Atlanta, Georgia. The
government needs to make the case against Kelly stick once and
for all.

April 2018 - The Time's Up campaign is taking aim at R. Kelly over multiple
allegations he has sexually abused women. The organization devoted to helping
women in the aftermath of sexual abuse issued a statement Monday urging further
investigation into Kelly's behavior, which has come under closer scrutiny over
the last year as women have come forward to accuse him of everything from sexual
coercion to physical abuse. Kelly has denied such charges.
'We demand appropriate investigations and inquiries into the
allegations of R. Kelly's abuse made by women and their families for more than
two decades now. And we declare with great vigilance and a united voice to
anyone who wants to silence us - their time is up,' the statement said. This
comes after the 51-year-old singer announced Sunday on Twitter that he has been
removed from the lineup for a concert in his hometown of Chicago over
allegations. But Kelly has never been convicted.
He said in a video: 'I want to apologize to all of my fans in
Chicago and basically all around the world wherever I'm performing at and they
cancel me. I don't know why they cancel the show. I've never heard of a show
being cancelled because of rumors, but I guess it is the first time for
everything.'...
