On Monday the trend #AbolishTheCIA began trending on the social media website Twitter. It was in response to an article by Max Boost on the Atlantic website, which attempted to bring down prominent presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, for stating years ago that the CIA should be abolished. The responses on social media from the public were overwhelmingly in favor of Sanders and against the CIA.

Sanders is not alone in stating the CIA. should be abolished. Many people feel that way. Former U.S. President John F. Kennedy stated he would dismantle the CIA ("I will splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds"), then he was mysteriously murdered in a shooting death that is still a mystery to the public. A search of the internet reveals many Americans believe the CIA were behind Kennedy's assassination.

The CIA and FBI even criminally conspired to destroy the campaign of and remove U.S. President Donald Trump, who is duly elected.

The CIA overthrew duly elected leaders in Australia, Angola, El Salvador, Grenada, Congo, Chile, Iraq, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Laos, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Brazil, Indonesia, Greece, Uruguay, Cambodia, Bolivia and Panama. These facts are recorded in world history and with many government intelligence outfits.

The CIA overthrew the Grenadian government, killed their prime minister (Bishop) and buried him at a secret location, all in violation of international law.

The CIA threatened, terrorized and bullied world leaders in the democratic Caribbean and also stole many natural resources from the region. The CIA also criminally interfered in elections all over the Democratic Caribbean.

This is why world governments shake their heads at the hypocrisy when they hear anyone in CIA or FBI publicly complain about Russia meddling in U.S. elections in 2016 and 2020. Putin indeed has tried to influence Americans via social media, which I don‘t agree with, but it's not illegal. However, world history records it that the CIA has outright murdered tens of thousands of people around the world to overthrow world governments.

The CIA trained and funded Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda (as detailed by the BBC, Forbes and ABC News, among other outlets). He was one of their operatives. They gave him millions of dollars. After Bin Laden committed the horrific September 11th terrorist attacks in America, his family was mysteriously flown out of the United States immediately after.

The CIA flooded the streets of Compton, California with crack cocaine to pay for illegal, covert conduct in the international community, which left many dead abroad and hundreds of thousands of addicts strewn across America. It is covered in the acclaimed documentary "American Drug War."
The CIA smuggled murderous Nazis into America under the disgraceful Operation Paperclip.

The CIA ran illegal experiments on poor and homeless Americans in U.S. hospitals. They injected unsuspecting, poor and homeless people with drugs such as LSD and PCP while testing it in the 1970s for use to harm people in the field.

The CIA infected minorities and poor people in America and abroad with diseases to see how their bodies would react to it.

The CIA has tortured terrorist suspects, who were wrongly kidnapped by the agency, cutting and infecting their genitals with sexually transmitted diseases, in criminal violation of the Geneva Conventions the U.S. government signed in the United Nations (which the government owns).

The CIA was named as the culprit behind the anthrax the FBI questionably pinned on scientist Bruce Ivins, whom they deliberately pushed into committing suicide, illegally using COINTELPRO tactics. Scientists all over the world denounced the FBI for allegedly coming up with a branch of science to pin the crime on Ivins. It was nonsensical pseudo-science rubbish the entire domestic and global science communities laughed at. It was pure psychopathy to go that far, spending millions in taxpayer money, to pin a crime on one man, over what the CIA had done.

The CIA has waged terrorist attacks around the world that were blamed on others.

The CIA made plans to plant bombs in Miami to kill innocent people and innocent incoming Cuban refugees to make Castro look bad (source: Miami New Times).

It is widely stated in the international community that the CIA with the support of the FBI blew up the Cubana de Aviacion Flight 455 in the Caribbean in 1976, killing 73 people, as an act against Cuba's Fidel Castro.

The CIA overthrew the government in Nicaragua, via their anti-Sandinista paramilitary. Children were tortured and beheaded during the CIA's coup.
The CIA framed Nelson Mandela and had his wrongfully locked up for 27-years.

The CIA and FBI engage in commercial espionage criminally stealing from companies and businesspeople all over the world and giving the protected trade secrets and copyrights to corporate America. Pathetic!

One of the problems with the CIA and FBI, they don’t grasp what America and the rest of the world truly thinks of them. It really showed recently in the 2016 U.S. election. Half of America (Trump supporters) openly hate the CIA and FBI on social networking for conspiring to derail Trump’s campaign and then presidency. Millions of other Americans (Hillary Clinton supporters) openly hate the CIA and FBI on social networking for the investigations they did into Clinton and the timing of various announcements concerning said investigations, which they express killed her chances of becoming president. Clinton herself is bitter over it and openly blames former FBI Director James Comey.

Then, there is the international community, who’ve experienced the unprovoked threats, harassment, abuse and murderous conduct of the CIA and FBI, who label the agencies deadly imperialists that won't stay out of other governments and nations business.

So you see, no one likes either agency, except the people connected to them. Too many people in America and around the world saw the CIA and FBI do heinous things to like them. However, some younger Americans are still unaware.

If the American people knew the true function and motto of the CIA they would want it abolished, as the hashtag that trended demanded.

CIA created al-Qaeda and gave $3 BILLION to Osama bin Laden

The US government trained, armed, funded and supported Osama bin Laden and his followers in Afghanistan during the cold war. With a huge investment of $3,000,000,000 (three billion US dollars), the CIA effectively created and nurtured bin Laden's al-Qaeda terrorist network using American tax-payers money. Afghanistan is one of the world's poorest countries, where such an enormous sum sum of money would have had extraordinary value.

CIA Considered Bombing Miami and Killing Refugees to Blame Castro

October 27, 2017 | 9:06am - Donald Trump's bold promises earlier this week to finally blow the lid off the JFK assassination mystery by declassifying reams of secret documents turned out to be a gigantic tease. The National Archives ended up making public only a fraction of the JFK documents last night.

Still, the 2,800 papers included in the new document dump confirm some salacious details of America's decades-long quest to kill or depose Fidel Castro — including a fairly shocking plan by the CIA to sow terror in Miami.

After Castro's revolution succeeded and thousands of Cubans fled to South Florida, the agency actually considered murdering a boatload of refugees, assassinating exile leaders, and planting bombs in Miami — all so Castro could be blamed for the chaos.

The basic idea was to turn world opinion against Castro and possibly justify a U.S. military invasion by pinning the atrocities on him. The details of the sinister plot are included in a summary about Operation Mongoose, a 1960 covert op hatched by the CIA under President Dwight Eisenhower with the aim of toppling Communist Cuba.

The campaign was included in a report on "pretexts" the U.S. could conjure up to justify a military intervention in Cuba. The paper was sent by Gen. Edward Landsdale, a top Cold War officer who worked with the CIA to plot out Operation Mongoose; he sent the report, which included nine other "pretexts," on April 12, 1962, to Gen. Maxwell Taylor, who would soon become chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Here's how the report described the plan:

Just to reiterate how crazy this idea is: The CIA thought about blowing stuff up in Florida and murdering innocent refugees simply to make Castro look bad. Thankfully, that plot was apparently never carried out. The Mongoose doc includes other frightening plots hatched by the spooks in Washington, including an idea to use biological weapons to ruin Cuba's crops, possibly leading to famine and an uprising against Castro:

That plan was also apparently spitballed. Operation Mongoose has hardly been a secret. The covert project, which for a time was headquartered in a secret base in Opa-locka, has long been studied by Cold War scholars and JFK conspiracy buffs. It's not even immediately clear whether the details about sowing terror in Miami are new, though a quick web search doesn't yield any stories about that particular idea. (Update: As some astute readers have noted, much of the newly posted Mongoose details at the National Archive were already released as part of a plot called Operation Northwoods, which President Kennedy reviewed but rejected)...

Bernie Sanders says he still has 'some concerns' about the CIA

An agency he once wanted abolished and said was accountable to only 'right-wing lunatics'

'I do have some concerns about past activities of the CIA,' Sanders told host Chris Cuomo. 'Which, continues, by the way, to the present,' the Vermont senator added.

While the question came seemingly out of left field, Politico wrote a story yesterday detailing Sanders' adversity to the CIA as a radical activist in the 1970s. Back then a 33-year-old Sanders called the agency, 'a dangerous institution that has got to go,' adding that it was accountable to nobody 'except right-wing lunatics who use it to prop up fascist dictatorships.'...

Sanders explained then why he still had his reservations. 'CIA was involved in the overthrow of a gentleman named Mohammad Mosaddegh way back when in Iran,' Sanders explained. 'Overthrew him on behalf of British oil.' 'And you know what happened,' Sanders added. 'That led to the Iranian revolution and we are where we are today.' Sanders also pointed fingers at the CIA when it came to the overthrow of Salvador Allende of Chile. 'A democratic candidate, he won a fair election, the CIA overthrew him,' Sanders said...

Report: Aide says Nixon's war on drugs targeted blacks, hippies

Updated 3:14 PM ET, Thu March 24, 2016 - "The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people," former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman told Harper's writer Dan Baum. Ehrlichman's comment is the first time the war on drugs has been plainly characterized as a political assault designed to help Nixon win, and keep, the White House.

Washington (CNN)One of Richard Nixon's top advisers and a key figure in the Watergate scandal said the war on drugs was created as a political tool to fight blacks and hippies, according to a 22-year-old interview recently published in Harper's Magazine. Former President Richard Nixon's anti-drug laws were used as a political weapon against African Americans and the anti-war left, according to a recently published 22-year-old interview with one of his top advisers. Former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman's interview with writer Dan Baum was published by Harper's Magazine. Former president Nixon's paranoia and racist tactics have been well-documented, which also included keeping a list of political enemies. The Drug Policy Alliance, a reform group pushing for the end to the discriminatory war on drugs, issued a statement in response to the revelations, saying Nixon's sentiments towards hippies and black people are not surprising.

"This explosive admission, while provocative, is sadly nothing new," the statement read. "Our (DPA) allies in the movement to end the drug war have long known that U.S. drug policies and have been inherently racist and discriminatory. Despite comparable rates of drug use and sales, communities of color and other marginalized groups have been the principal targets of drug law enforcement and make up the vast majority of people who have been incarcerated or otherwise had their lives torn apart by the drug war."
