Rapper Da Brat Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison Da Brat Going To Da Jail August 22. 2008
Da Brat Lesbian rapper Da Brat, real name Shawntae Harris, has been sentenced to 3 years in prison for assaulting a waitress with a bottle of alcohol, because she accidentally bumped into her. Okay, then. The waitress and aspiring model sustained several facial cuts that scarred her, when Da Brat hit her in the face with a bottle of liquor and she fell down a flight of stairs. This is the second time Da Brat has been in trouble for assaulting another person. In 2000 she was arrested for beating a woman with a gun.

The label's CEO, Jermaine Dupri, closed his restaurant recently without paying his employees for weeks. It is also being said he is being fired from his job, as two releases he oversaw bomb.

Janet's album flopped straight out the gate, while Carey's unoriginal faux pop meets reggae CD started okay, then tanked. Rapper Da Brat gets 3 years for nightclub attack A DeKalb County judge sentenced rapper Da Brat to three years in prison Friday for hitting an Atlanta Falcons cheerleader in the head with a nearly full liquor bottle at an Atlanta-area nightclub. Superior Court Judge Gail Flake also sentenced the rapper, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, to seven years probation and 200 hours of community service. Harris also must get substance abuse treatment and a mental evaluation and attend anger management classes... Moments later, Harris struck Stevens in the head with a nearly full bottle of rum, prosecutors said. Stevens fell down some stairs to a cement floor and suffered a severe facial cut. Stevens has a permanent scar, the judge said Friday in noting the severity of the attack. |
