Rap And Violence Towards Women: Rapper Joe Budden Beats Video Girl Causing Miscarriage May 10. 2011 Esther Baxter and Joe Budden Last month, it was rapper Gucci Mane, violently pushing a woman out of a vehicle, after a previous incident where he publicly punched his girlfriend in the face. This month, it is rapper Joe Budden, who beat his video model girlfriend, Esther Baxter, so badly, she miscarried their child, after two months of pregnancy. The distraught model sent very graphic photos to a website to be published, wanting to tell the world what was done to her. She is going to need prayer after such a trauma. Rap music has to change. The violence towards women before and behind the scenes must stop. Violence has nothing to do with music or equality. It is one of the worst byproducts of humankind. Artists have a responsibility to their audiences, to police themselves in the types of images they portray to the public. Those refusing to do so, do not need to be in the public eye or have a record deal.
