Rumors Persist Aaliyah Had An Abortion At Age 15

R Kelly and Aaliyah in 1994 when the two illegally
wed at his insistence. She was 15 and he 27. She looked sad, like
she was trapped in something bad she wanted no part of in any
measure. Kelly was beating and bullying the young singer.
Lisa Van Allen made claims that disgraced singer
and pedophile, R Kelly, who is currently on trial for sexually
abusing underage girls, had sex with Diane Haughton, the mother
of the late former child star, Aaliyah. Van Allen is one of R
Kelly’s sexual abuse victims. She stated R Kelly told her he had
sex with Aaliyah’s mother on a sofa.
The TMZ website is reporting that R Kelly denies
Van Allen’s claims. TMZ stated, “Sources close to R Kelly say he
absolutely denies he and Diane had anything but a friendly
relationship. We’re told Kelly believes the only reason Van
Allen made those claims in the Vlad TV interview is to further
smear his name and grab headlines for herself.”

R Kelly began working with Aaliyah as her
songwriter/producer, when she was 12-years-old. When Aaliyah
turned 15-years-old and R Kelly was 27-years of age, he
illegally married the underage singer, by unlawfully obtaining a
fake identification for the singer, falsely claiming she was 18
at the time.
MTV News exposed the story of their secret
marriage. The news outlet obtained a copy of the marriage
certificate from the government registrars office in Illinois.
Kelly believed Aaliyah was pregnant and used it as an excuse to
marry the child star. Rumors have persisted for years that
Aaliyah had an abortion at age 15. Court records reflect
Aaliyah’s shocked and enraged parents had the marriage annulled
in their hometown of Detroit 1-year after the illegal marriage
transpired.

The sealed annulment papers reveal R Kelly was
engaging in domestic violence, by beating the diminutive
underage singer. Physical violence is a complaint also echoed by
R Kelly’s other victims, including his ex-wife, Andrea Kelly.
The man clearly has a problem. He preys on underage girls and
beats them up as well when they fail to say and do exactly what
he orders.
