Mariah Carey Sold $10,000,000 Engagement Ring For $2,000,000 May 28. 2018 Mariah Carey and James Packer Page Six is stating mentally ill singer Mariah Carey sold her 35-carat engagement from billionaire James Packer, for well under what it is allegedly worth. Packer dumped Carey after a year of dating, as she was spending too much of his money, making too many demands and let her looks go. Carey’s music career has imploded, her expenses are skyrocketing and she is being sued by her opportunistic former manager, who is taking credit for a 3-year period in the singer’s career that was abysmal and rocked by scandal and flops. Carey is streamlining her expenses. Carey has sold the ring Packer gave her in Los Angeles for $2,000,000. However, the ring was allegedly valued at $10,000,000. It lends the impression the ring was never worth $10,000,000 to begin with and Carey’s publicist released that information to make things look bigger than they were, to boost her sagging profile. I stated years ago and repeatedly on this site that Carey is mentally ill. Carey’s mental illness led to her making headlines for all the wrong things, rather than her music career. I stated she should have been medicated long ago. Then she could have focused on making music, rather than making trouble in the public domain, in conduct that has greatly damaged her legacy. Carey’s voice is damaged but not so badly that she can’t sing. It’s not like she sounds horrible like Madonna. Carey still looks youthful as well, unlike Madonna, who looks like one of the aliens from “Star Wars”. Carey has wasted time and valuable career years, surrounding herself with the wrong people and pursuing self-defeating ventures.
