67-year-old Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein has been sentenced to 23-years in prison for rape and sexual assault. Judge James Burke handed down the sentence today to a startled Weinstein, whose lawyers had informed the court that if he received anything more than 5-years in jail (with good behavior it would be halved) it would be a death sentence.

Prior to sentencing, Weinstein began rambling to the court about communism in America, the nation being in crisis and Superstorm Sandy (2012). What does a hurricane have to do with Weinstein raping women. What does communism have to do with Weinstein raping women. Weinstein is a psychopath who refuses to accept responsibility for his actions.

Some of Weinstein's victims were in court and cheered the verdict. Many applauded the sentence online. However, Weinstein's lawyer ripped the judge in stating the sentence was "absurd" and "obnoxious" (no one cares, dear, no one cares). Weinstein's attorney stated she will appeal.

After the sentence was read, Weinstein was placed on a prison bus and transported to the notorious Riker's Island prison in New York. It is a harsh new reality for Weinstein, but one he richly earned. His conduct has been completely unnecessary and inexcusable. He went on an arrogant, crazy power trip, thinking and behaving like he could do any evil thing to anyone he wanted. Now it's time to pay his debt to society behind bars.
