Harvey Weinstein Is Facing Life In Prison With New Criminal Charges Added To The Existing Indictment Against Him For Rape

The District Attorney in New York has filed new charges against disgraced Hollywood movie producer and rapist Harvey Weinstein, who is currently being prosecuted for rape. This week, the district attorney announced three felony charges have been added to the existing criminal case against Weinstein, for raping two women.

The new charges are Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree and Predatory Sexual Assault. Weinstein is now facing life in prison. Weinstein has been accused of sexual harassment, sexual assault and rape by over 100 famous and non-famous women in the entertainment industry. Weinstein used blacklisting and criminal strong arm tactics to keep his victims silent. That is until, actress Ashley Judd came forward and said no more. Her interview with the New York Times opened the floodgates.

I'm sorry, but I find it amazing how these industry men like Weinstein who look like Dobby the elf think all these women are lusting after them. Most people aren't delusional. However, among certain executives in Hollywood it runs rampant. Weinstein wants us to believe that all these women like Angelina Jolie, who accused him of sexual harassment, have been begging him for it. If I saw Angelina Jolie on a date with Weinstein the first thing that would run through my mind is, "He's holding her hostage."

While good looking men can be rapists, to see a very unattractive one state that all these women wanted him, is not believable (much like rapper Jay Z calling himself "cute"). My point is Weinstein knew these women did not want him. He's been going around the industry like a sexual predator for years, targeting women who had no interest in him and forcing himself on them.

Weinstein, 66, is facing new charges of Criminal Sexual Act in the First Degree for a forcible sexual act against a woman in 2006 as well as two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault.

Predatory Sexual Assault carries a minimum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum of life behind bars. Weinstein has been charged with Predatory Sexual Assault for for allegedly committing the crimes of Rape, Criminal Sexual Act and Aggravated Sexual Abuse in the first degree on two occasions in New York. 'A Manhattan Grand Jury has now indicted Harvey Weinstein on some of the most serious sexual offenses that exist under New York’s Penal Law,' said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance.

'This indictment is the result of the extraordinary courage exhibited by the survivors who have come forward. Our investigation continues.
