61-year-old chef, author and television personality, Anthony Bourdain, has died. Bourdain was found unresponsive in his hotel room, after hanging himself, which is very tragic. People have been paying tribute to the well-liked chef who educated the world on food and the customs of many nations.

The humble host of CNN’s “Parts Unknown” was in France filming a new episode of his highly informative, award winning show. Bourdain’s close friend, chef Eric Ripert, went to check on him and found him dead. Bourdain was accepted in the world, as his show gave people a fair shake. It wasn’t pretentious or arrogant. Unassuming Bourdain dined with the wealthy and the poor, showing the same kindness and respect to all. He will be greatly missed.
