Budweiser Drops Jay Z For Being Unpopular

June 8. 2018

Jay Z

Ad Age is reporting, the multi-billion dollar Budweiser beer company has ditched trouble prone rapper and fraud Jay Z. Budweiser was a sponsor of the rapper's annual "Made in America" music festival, but the company has decided to forgo sponsoring Jay Z anymore. Budweiser has cut ties with Jay Z, who was recently deposed by the U.S. government, via the Securities and Exchange Commission, for a flagrant case of accounting fraud that burned the shareholders of the Iconix company. Jay Z is also under  criminal investigation in Norway for financial fraud regarding his and thieving Madonna's failed music streaming service Tidal.

Budweiser released a statement through Vice President Ricardo Marques, "We are realizing that music is being consumed in many different ways today and we want to keep up with the trends and how consumers are behaving today." Budweiser is switching to sponsoring country music events. Country artists sell more records than Jay Z, who is in the middle of a music sales falsification scandal. It's a waste of time throwing money at an entertainer who can't deliver, as the numbers simply aren't there, indicating Jay Z is not popular. It will not increase the sponsors' sales. Another major issue is Jay Z was caught falsifying his touring sales, trying to cover up the fact his concerts have been flopping, via poor ticket sales.
