The class act that is pop tart, Britney "Booger Queen" Spears, often does not care about her appearance or lack of proper etiquette. Spears often makes public appearances looking like she hasn't taken a bath in a year. Yesterday, she was seen deeply picking her nose in public, like she was digging for oil. As usual, her hair was unkempt, eyes glossy and expression vacant. 

Should this woman really be in the limelight, when there are so many more deserving acts out there. It's not that Spears has rare off days and occasional slip ups. She constantly has them and shamelessly so, grinning as if she has done something to be proud of.

The public used to demand more of its entertainers, but with the new breed of tacky stars that have surfaced over the last couple decades, it is as though the public has given up on expecting decency and grace from Hollywood. Stars used to be well poised and polished. What happened?
