British Regulators State Rupert Murdoch Fully Owning Sky Is Not In The Public Interest And Rejects His Takeover Bid January 24. 2018
Rupert Murdoch British government regulators at the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have denounced the plan of News Corp chief, Rupert Murdoch, to acquire more shares in the cable network provider and satellite company Sky. The CMA stated Murdoch has, "Too much control over news providers in the UK across all media platforms and therefore too much influence over public opinion and the political agenda." Anne Lambert, the chairwoman of the CMA's independent investigation group further stated, "Media plurality goes to the heart of our democratic process. It is very important that no group or individual should have too much control of our news media or too much power to affect the political agenda. Our in-depth investigation also considered whether the deal would be against the public interest regarding broadcasting standards. Due to their existing track record in the UK, and the range of policies and procedures the companies involved have in place to ensure broadcasting standards are met, we did not find public interest concerns in this regard." Murdoch's £11.7 billion bid to take full control of Sky was rejected by the British government. He currently owns 39.14% of Sky, which broadcasts in Britain, New Zealand and Murdoch's native Australia. Murdoch owns Fox in America. He recently agreed to a deal with Disney to sell the 21st Century Fox movie studio. Murdoch determines the news and entertainment in all of Britain. He owns much of the main cable network provider (Sky) and the staff does whatever he says. Murdoch owns many newspapers in Britain as well (The Times, The Sunday Times, The Sun and Press Association). So many of Murdoch's newspapers have outright defamed innocent people, destroyed marriages, broke up relationships and humiliated the subjects' children. Murdoch installed his employees at the British Broadcasting Network (BBC), such as James Harding among others, and has been secretly running the national network, dictating its news and entertainment, in criminal violation of British law. The BBC is funded by British taxpayers and what Murdoch has done to their network is vile. Murdoch had even installed one of his employees at Downing Street (Andy Coulson) to control the Prime Minister (David Cameron). Murdoch is psychotic and hell-bent on controlling everything. In 1989 Murdoch founded Sky Television, which failed. In 1990 Sky Television and the British Satellite Broadcasting (BSB) merged. The merged companies was given the name British Sky Broadcasting. Ever since that time, Murdoch has been obsessed with owning the entire company. Previously, I broke the phone hacking story on Murdoch via a police complaint to the Metropolitan Police In London, in October 2005, which I also placed online. The Metropolitan Police made their first arrests in June 2006. Thus far several Murdoch employees have done prison time over the illegal phone hacking he ordered and paid for via News International. I have intimate knowledge of what is going on with that company. Sky has greatly limited the choices Britons have in reference to cable and entertainment. It has become a monopoly. Worst of all, Murdoch has used Sky to criminally spy on Britons in their homes. It's full time Scotland Yard and the Metropolitan Police told the British public the truth regarding what that madman Murdoch has been doing. It is going to come out one way or another. I don't think there's anything wrong with one person owning a network and or satellite company. However, when the person is an outright criminal, blackmailer, corporate thief, racist and perverted voyeur engaging in mass illegal spying, while trying to control politicians (Tony Blair, Gordon Brown and David Cameron) and the news narrative in several nations, there's a very serious problem. Murdoch is an evil psychopath and criminal. He has criminally exploited adults and children alike for undue financial gain (he exploited deceased underage teen Milly Dowler, and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown's sick child, for financial gain). Murdoch has blackmailed prime ministers and presidents. Murdoch is not a person of good moral character. He is abominable. Murdoch has absolutely no conscience or empathy. Some of his behavior is sociopathic. Greed has so consumed his evil, money grubbing soul, he has harmed humanity to get as much wealth as he possibly can, in evil acts that have damaged many people. Murdoch has criminally stolen people's businesses and assets via racketeering. Such a human bring is not fit to own a network or news purveyor of any kind. He has and further will shape the news to fit his corrupt agenda and not what is best for society, also known as the unvarnished truth. Sadly, Murdoch and his ilk have damaged Britain.
