Barack Obama U.S. President Barack Obama has been running negative campaign ads against rival, Mitt Romney, in a bid to gain a second term in the White House as head of state. However, according to published polls, these ads have done nothing to put a dent in Romney's campaign.
Mitt Romney Romney continues to rise in the polls, with people paying attention to his business skills, having accumulated a fortune of $250,000,000. Sometimes negative ads work and in other instances they don't. President Obama is experiencing the latter in this case.
