Chris Brown Word in the music industry is attorney, Mark Geragos, has been trying to talk sense into his client, singer Chris Brown, imploring him to move on from his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. She filed a temporary restraining order against Brown for domestic violence, death threats and stalking. The restraining order also covers Tran's mother and brother, whom Brown also made threats against. Tran's best friend J. Ryan LaCour has also obtained a temporary restraining order against Brown, for issuing threats of violence and sending Bloods gang members after him in a hostile confrontation.
Karrueche Tran Geragos has repeatedly tried to keep Brown out of legal trouble and successfully engaged in court maneuvers that shortened the amount of time the singer faced in jail, due to probation violations, while resolving other civil cases brought against the troubled entertainer that could have led to criminal charges. Geragos is trying to keep Brown out of jail again, because if he violates Tran or LaCour's restraining order, his history of violence can be used against him in court to induce incarceration. The judge will deem he is a past offender with a criminal record comprised of various legal violations and is likely prone to offend again.
