Justin Bieber Labeled A Racist In His Native Canada Over Comments He Made In Interview August 9. 2012
Justin Bieber 18-year-old pop star Justin Bieber has gotten himself into trouble in his native Canada. While attempting to show he is culturally diverse, the pop star was labeled a racist over a comment he made in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in America. Bieber stated, "I'm actually part Indian. I think Inuit or something. I'm enough percent that in Canada I can get free gas." The Congress of Aboriginal Peoples are slamming his remarks as racist. A representative of the organization, Betty Ann Lavallee, stated of Bieber's comments, "These kinds of remarks promote the misconception that we are somehow getting a free ride."
